everyone for helping us make Texas Ranger Day 2014 a success! Despite some rainy weather, there was a great turnout

The Burton Heritage Society
hosts the fourth annual Texas Ranger Day in historic Burton, Texas at the Burton Railroad Depot, 507 N Railroad Street,
on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
history with a day full of activities including tasty food at the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off, experience
live action re-enactments by the Old West Rangers, see folk life demonstrations , try your hand at crafts and an archaeological
dig, compete in the bean bag toss tournament and tour the historic Depot, as well as the Burton Farmers Gin at the Texas Cotton
Gin Museum (10am & 2pm). Also this year you can enjoy lots of great LIVE MUSIC with Abigail Taylor, Slim Bawb & the Fabulous Stumpgrinders,
Trickdog & Lisa, "Steppenwolf guitarist," Danny Johnson and MORE. Buy local and unique items/services at the

Proceeds this year will benefit the restoration of our second historic site, the Mt. Zion
