Spend a fun-filled day, Sat. Dec. 9th, in the tiny town of Burton, Pop. 300, located halfway between Austin and Houston on Hwy 290. Explore the Krist Kindl Markt with home-grown, hand-crafted local items, baked-goods, art & gifts.

Join the Heritage Society’s Tannenbaum Walking Tour of the Historic Knittel House, 1898 Train Depot and Burton’s 103 year old Cotton Gin and more. Visit antique stores, thrift stores, restaurants and taverns within blocks of each other for adult beverages, hot chocolate, chili and stew. There will also be cookie decorating, ornament making and mini-gingerbread house stations for kids of all ages who can get their picture taken with Santa & family photos, too!

Join in Christmas Caroling to celebrate the season and Tree Lighting at sunset.
